Support The Tran Family: ICU expenses, funeral arrangements.

The very early morning of Thursday 9/26/24, their father, Thanh Tran was rushed to the ER by his son, John, due to complaints of weakness. Upon arrival, he was hypotensive and had a sky rocketing blood sugar level. While in the ER, he had a seizure and was immediately intubated to protect his airway. A CT scan showed his stomach was bleeding. A few weeks prior Thanh was given blood thinners to treat blood clots in his legs. Because of this medication, it made the stomach bleed worse, his blood pressure continued to drop. He received 6 units of blood. He was then transferred to the ICU for cardiogenic shock and multiple organ failure. The family was hopeful, but each day the doctor presented worse and worse news. To find the source of bleeding in his stomach, doctors did a scope and found a mass. After 3 long days awaiting the biopsy result, the family was devastated to learn the stomach mass was cancer. This diagnosis alongside the severity of his organ failure, eliminated any possible interventions to save Thanh’s life.

Beloved father, husband, uncle and brother. Thanh was a hardworking, reliable and resourceful man. He always had the biggest smile. He loved and cherished his family dearly- his wife, Ha, children Julie, John and Kevin. We are truly heartbroken over his loss.
