Asante sana for your continued support! Without you, we couldn't do what we do!!
The Uhuru Academy is an independent, Afrikan centered, advanced institution of learning in Ft. Worth, TX that provides African American students with a high quality education through cultural enrichment, environmental science, and hands on learning. We are raising funds in order to provide scholarships to students and families that want to enroll in our institution, to be able to compensate our dedicated teachers who have all worked as volunteers up til now and deserve to be compensated for the great work that they do, and to allow us to provide computers, field trips, and projects that will further ensure that our students become the type of leaders our community, nation, and world sorely needs. Your contribution will help us fight the school to prison pipeline and institutional racism by allowing us to uplift our community by uplifting our most valuable commodity: our children. Thank you for your support!
