Peyton is an amazing 13 year old kid.
He loves to sing, is incredibly intelligent and the most loving son, brother, grandson and nephew.

He had been having headaches for a while but about 16 months ago started having them on a more and more frequent basis. His symptoms became significantly worse escalating to extremely painful daily headaches and nearly nonstop vomiting.

November 28th, 2022 Peyton’s parents, Mandy and Michael, took him to the emergency department for an emergency MRI due to papilledema. The MRI revealed the unimaginable; Peyton has a large tumor in the middle of his brain. He was admitted to Greenville Children's Hospital PICU for a biopsy.

On December 12, 2022 we were informed that Peyton's tumor is a Grade IV Diffuse Midline Glioma H3K27M-Mutant. This tumor is considered fatal due to it's location, likeyhood of recurrance, and aggressive fast growing manner. They said that Peyton could have between months and up to 7 years but the average lifespan after diagnosis is horribly short. We are absolutely devastated. There are no words for a diagnosis like this. We are doing everything we can to give him the longest and most quality life possible.
Your prayers and generosity would mean the world.

Peyton completed 6 weeks of radiation, but surgery, unfortunately, wasn’t an option for him.

Over the last year, Peyton and his mother Mandy traveled back and forth to California multiple times a month for monitoring of the trial medication Peyton was receiving for treatment.

In September, 2023, Peyton had a seizure that left him unresponsive.
He was brought to the emergency room in an ambulance.
We didn’t know if he would ever wake up.
We are so so grateful that he did come conscious again.
He was able to return home, and now he stays in their dining room turned into a bedroom, set with a hospital bed for him to stay for easy access.
Mandy and Michael take turns sleeping on a twin mattress on the floor next to him, while the other usually cuddles with their sweet daughter Brooks (10 years).

Mandy has been unable to work due to caring full time for Peyton, and Michael has been able to work from home for the most part; taking lots of time off for appointments and precious family time. He is now out of paid time off and he has used FMLA, so any time out of work is money they aren’t making to pay basic bills.

Currently, we are raising funds so that Michael, Mandy, Peyton and Brooks can get the chance to spend quality time together, , and continue to make memories, as they can.

Anything helps, a dollar, a share,
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
