Support the Van Buskirk family after their loss

Jason Van Buskirk, 54, passed away very unexpectedly on November 27th with his loving wife by his side.

Jason was a free spirit, spending much of his time gardening, attending rock concerts, and trying new foods. He was an avid cheesecake and dessert baker, and it brought him great joy to share his creations with loved ones. His family meant everything to him, and he made sure everyone around him enjoyed and noticed the little things in life. He had a curious nose and a keen eye for all things beautiful in nature; never leaving a flower unsniffed. Jason stood at 6’7”, a looming figure never to be missed in a crowd. He wasn’t afraid to strike a conversation with anyone. With a boisterous laugh and a gentle soul, Jason left an impact on everyone he met. His smile and vibrant energy will be greatly missed.

In Jason’s early life he was a drummer in a band and enjoyed playing hockey with his brother. He was a videographer, capturing everything from weddings to commercials. He loved filming the perfect shot. Later in life, Jason started working with his wife, Amy, at Pizza Ranch where he left a legacy of pursuing excellence. The customers loved him; his coworkers looked up to him.

We are raising this fund to support Jason’s family after this devastating loss. This fund will be helpful for Jason’s funeral expenses and additional support to the family, as he did not have life insurance. His wife now needs to navigate life on a single income, so any donation is greatly appreciated. 

His wife, Amy, also recently experienced a collapsed lung which completely changed her life. She was diagnosed with COPD and has to sleep with oxygen. Funds raised will also help pay for her ongoing medical expenses.
