I didn’t think I’d wake up yesterday to find out that my dad would be gone. For anyone that knew him he has been a fighter since the very beginning always fighting and pushing through life making us think he was invincible because he’d always get better. Luis Vasquez Gaspar was born and raised in Mexico by his grandparents and moved to the states at a very young age. He became a father at 19 years old to his eldest daughter Cristal Vasquez followed by Luis Vasquez Jr, Angel Vasquez and Stephanie Vasquez. He was a great chef, loved to play and watch basketball had a love of collecting music tapes,CDs and collecting movies. He loved to go fishing and hanging out with his friends. He is survived by his mother Bertila Vasquez Gaspar, his younger sibling Marilu, Gary and Yosani Vasquez, his children Cristal , Luis Jr, Angel and Stephanie Vasquez , and his 3 grandchildren Darla Vasquez and Julian and Natalia Salas. If anyone wishes to contribute to funeral expenses it would be greatly appreciated. Anything would be greatly appreciated by the Vasquez Family.

Luis Vásquez Gaspar, de 56 años, de Bridgeton, falleció el sábado 17 de agosto de 2024 en su casa.

Nacido en Puebla, México, hijo de Bertila Gaspar y el difunto Ramiro Vásquez, había sido residente de Bridgeton durante los últimos 19 años, antes de eso había residido en Nueva York durante 30 años y siete años en México. En su tiempo libre, le gustaba escuchar música, jugar al baloncesto, pescar y cocinar.

Le sobreviven; su madre, Bertila Gaspar Vásquez; sus hijos, Cristal Vásquez, Luis Vásquez, Ángel Vásquez y Stephanie Vásquez; hermanos, Gary Vásquez, Yosani Vásquez y MaryLou Vásquez; nietos, Darla Vásquez, Julian Salas y Natalia Salas; y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos sobrinas y familia extendida. Fue precedido en la muerte por; su padre, Ramiro Vásquez; y sus hermanos, Gabriel y César Vásquez.

La Liturgia Fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 11 a.m. del miércoles 28 de agosto en la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción, 312 North Pearl St., Bridgeton. Los amigos serán recibidos de 9 a.m. a 10:30 a.m. en el PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp.
