If you have had the pleasure of knowing Miguel and Carolyn Vasquez, you know they are some of the kindest, hardest working people you will ever meet. Miguel and Carolyn are the beautiful example of holiness, trusting in God and love. Miguel is a loving caring husband, father and grandfather. He is a strong man who has worked all his life, a warrior that has never given up on anything.
Miguel has been battling heart disease since 2006 and fighting for his life. He was put on a transplant list one year and 5 months ago and finally was blessed with a heart and the gift of life on 5-17-2020. Since the transplant Miguel has faced and dealt with many challenging complications.
Miguel has not been able to work for a year now. Carolyn, his primary caretaker and soul provider has been unable to work since the day of the heart transplant. They will be facing many out of pocket expenses once released from the hospital. They will have to travel to the heart transplant clinic for monitoring, physical therapy and to hemodialysis three times a week because his kidneys are not functioning, which Dr's say it's common when put on bypass for the transplant surgery.
Personally, I can't imagine the range of emotions and trials they are facing. I want to ask people to pray for them. I know God will be glorified in the family.
I know people want to help. I believe we can help relieve at least some of the burden by helping financially. LETS COME TOGETHER AND RALLY AROUND THE VASQUEZ FAMILY SO THEY CAN FOCUS ON MIGUEL'S RECOVERY.
