Help Tigre & Villanueva Family Rebuild After Mountain Fire
Donation protected
Hello everybody, The Villanueva family is in need of your help again. We are a total of 6, with a baby in the family. We are residents of Somis and unfortunately lost everything. Most unfortunately, we are no strangers to this type of loss. In 2017, we also lost everything in the Thomas Fire, when we were living in Upper Ojai.
On Wednesday, November 6th, around 9:00 AM, our world was turned upside down when a devastating fire consumed our home, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We were some of the first to witness the Mountain Fire, which was so fast moving, there was no time for a formal evacuation order. We barely evacuated in enough time to get out of our property that was engulfed with flames.
We’ve lost not just our belongings, but cherished memories and a place that was our refuge and haven, after rising from the ashes to rebuild our lives post Thomas Fire. Thankfully, we are safe, but the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.
As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we’re reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers for help. Rebuilding our lives and finding a new place to call home is going to take time, but with your support, we can begin to heal and move forward.
We are humbly asking for donations to help cover the costs of temporary housing, replacing basic necessities, and etc. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in our journey toward recovery. Simply by sharing this link is enough.
Your generosity will help us rebuild our future, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With sincere gratitude,
Luis "Tigre", Karla, & the Villanueva Family
