- Private Service. The date you see listed here is a placeholder because Go Fund Me requires something be listed. As noted in the obituary, services will be private.
- Text Responses/Not a Hoax. Many have received what reads like a "form" text reply from Rita. We helped write it so that Rita had something she could copy/paste/send in response to the many texts she is receiving. As you can imagine, Rita is receiving many messages. She is receiving them all and appreciates them! You can expect more personalized responses in the future. But this is, sadly, not a hoax (but all are applauded for being careful and inquiring first!).

Friends and neighbors of Kathryn (Kate), Rita, and Mike Vogel have set up this memorial fund to assist the family with Kathryn's final expenses, arrangements, lost wages, and to create a memorial fund in honor of Kathryn "Kate" Vogel following her unexpected passing.
All funds will be provided to the Vogels to use in a way that honors Kate's creative spirit and support causes she cared about.
