Help support & restore hope for Sweet Acre Farms After Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, loving community, and kindhearted strangers,
Yesterday, our family suffered a devastating loss. My twin brother’s business, Sweet Acre Farms Winery, the one they built from the ground up for over 15 years and have built such a close community in Hall County, GA, was lost in a fire. Thankfully, no lives were lost, but their inventory is completely gone, as well as priceless family paintings from Lindsey’s mama, Ms. Judy, and treasured heirlooms from Matthew’s grandfather. You know, all the details that made the tasting room and Sweet Acre Farms Winery a place built with love.
What started as a dream in college when they first met, Matthew and Lindsey started selling gourmet caramel apples, jams and jellies at the local Farmer’s Market, giving Sweet Acre Farms its namesake. Growing berries and raising bees, it was everything “sweet” as the dream continued to grow and blossom. Their sweetest treats to welcome them came in a bundle of three - their daughters Maddie and Annabel, and their son Leo, all who were born to know the winery as their home. A space where friends come to listen to the sounds and pickin’ of their late grandfather’s band, where strangers came to taste a glass of Bramblin Sam or Quittin Time while enjoying a game of trivia, and where the closest family gather for birthdays and holidays.
The seeds of a business planted, but a community grown and bloomed with visits from thousands of people, lives touched, and memories is what remains. Since the winery provided the family with their sole means of income for the past 8+ years, they can now use our help! They need your support, and the community needs them!
Your contributions to this fundraiser will all be given to the family to help get them through these early, most difficult times as they process this and navigate what to do next. We understand times are tough for everyone lately, but any contribution (big or small) will make a tremendous difference and help provide for them and their family. If you cannot donate, we ask for your prayers, shares, and all the words of support and encouragement to help lift their spirits during this time.
Thank you for your support and help in restoring hope for the Vrahiotes family and Sweet Acre Farms, a family who gives back in bushels for their community.
With the most love,
The Vrahiotes Family
