Support the Wallace Family's Recovery Efforts

My name is Patrick, a close friend of Jeremy Wallace and his family, and I'd like to tell you about a very special place, a very special family, and how they need our help right now!

If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting the family that owns Brown Mountain Beach Resort, then you are missing out on two different things! Jeremy Wallace and his wife Kelsey and their 4 adopted children operate and live onsite at this wonderful place. For the better part of 2 decades, I personally have spent time here with my family camping, brought my Cub Scout pack camping here, attended friends' weddings here, and have had multiple Men's Retreats for fellowship with friends from multiple Bible Studies and from Church.

This family pours their hearts out to have a place that brings people together, and I don't know of a more special place with a more special group of people, and yesterday they lost it. Brought by Hurricane Helene, the normally serene Wilson Creek became a violent and formidable threat, and several of these people almost lost their lives! But they did, however, lose their home and the property needs severe cleanup, so that is what I want to try and do for them. I want to raise money for an excavator and dumpsters to come up and help clean up the massive amount of damage, and funds to allow them to get clothes, food, baby supplies, and so forth so that they can reopen for weddings, etc., to support their family. Because remember, they lost their home AND livelihood all at once!

Thank you to everyone who has supported Jeremy and his family as they recover from the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. We're so close to reaching our $20,000 goal, with just under $1,000 left to go!

The funds raised so far are already making a big difference in helping with cleanup and providing essential supplies for the family, the new deck is underway, the speakeasy clean up is coming along, and the heavy equipment has been repaired.
