The country songs have stopped playing from the jukebox, there is no sound of laughter, singing, or "I'll have another" coming from within The Waylon. It's now just filled with all the memories that have been made these past 5 years. The people and staff are what make this the BEST country bar in NYC, without them it's just a bar.
We are in a time of great uncertainty. The staff of The Waylon could use your help. They are the guys and ladies that greet you from behind the bar, that make your favorite drink, they cook the crispy cheese curds, and gooey queso. They are the people that smile when you come thru the doors, they give you advice during hard times and give you a "this rounds on me" to show their appreciation.
It's our time to show them our appreciation and give whatever we can to help support them during this difficult time. Whether you are a regular, have stopped in to listen to a live band, or to cheer for the Packers on a Sunday, please give whatever you can. Buy them a virtual "drink" or two this week, help them to get thru this. ALL donations will be distributed to the hard working staff. Please give what you can!
We look forward to the days when the sun starts shining in the backyard while the BBQ is going, and we are toasting that we all made it thru this over Shiner beers, and spicy margaritas while the country music is playing the background over the laughter. And we hope this day is soon.
