Support the Wells Family After Shelly's Passing

Hello, we have recently experienced a tragedy in the Wells family. Shelly Wells, the matriarch of the family, passed away Saturday around midday. Having been fighting off infections for a while now, she had a heart attack on Saturday the week before and fought for a full week before passing on. Unfortunately, she had multiple organ failure and never fully woke up again.

The hospital costs alone are almost unfathomable, but right now we are just trying to get together enough funds to cover her funeral. Her husband, Bill Wells, two daughters, Makayla Wells and Kristel Lewis, are in a tight spot due to their mother being the glue that held them together and Shelly managing the finances of her and her husband, and we are asking for anything that you may be able to help with.

Shelly Wells was a good woman who helped everyone who ever asked, loved to help animals, with years of service for the humane shelter and many dogs of her own, and a Grandmother to an 11 year old girl, Ayla, and just turned 1 year old boy, Liam.

We are stretched thin with the cost of the funeral, the fact that Bill now has to figure out the finances that his wife balanced, the costs to get the headstone, and the cost on the family to get the properties figured out. We are asking for at least $10,000 in order to sort it all out, but we understand the economy right now and really just need anything people can feasibly give. If you give us this help, you will be paying for things exclusively related to covering costs for her funeral and getting Bill back on his feet again. We will be using Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Green City, and will be sending out the date and time as soon as we can arrange it.
