Support the Willis Family After Charles' Passing

The Willis family suffered a tragic loss when Charles died suddenly Monday evening.

Whether you knew him as Charles, Chuck, or Buff, one thing is certain - he was so proud of his wife, Taiecha, and his daughter, McKenzie, who is a sophomore at the University of South Alabama. He was a loving and dedicated son to his mother, Mrs. Deloris Willis. Charles always had a quick word that made everyone laugh, and he treated everyone he met with dignity and respect.

Charles played QB for Coach Terry Curtis at Shaw High School before going on to play at Alabama State. He moved back to Mobile after college and went to work at Roshell's (formerly Mack's) where he quickly became a part of our family. In the 32 years since, Charles became a part of countless families. Words simply can't describe the friendships that Charles built with so many of you. God doesn't make many like Charles Willis, and we were blessed to have known him.
