Support the Women Who Drum Festival 2025

I am a professional drummer, clinician and part time professor. I produce an annual festival called, "Women Who Drum Festival" which showcases women as drummers and bandleaders.

The 2025 “Women Who Drum Festival“ will be the 4th year of me producing this event. I produce this festival because as a woman drummer, I have been told many times by people that, I am either the first woman drummer or the only woman drummer outside of Shiela E. they've ever seen. I find this fascinating since there are many women drummers, but apparently people are unaware. Women bandleaders are rarely seen as well. Our lack of visibility is the driving force behind my mission to showcase women as drummers and bandleaders.

The last 3 festivals have showcased some phenomenal women drummers and their bands. I have been able to make this festival, FREE to the community and I hope to continue this tradition. However, putting on this festival requires great expense. Therefore, I need your help. Please consider investing in the “Women Who Drum Festival.” Then pull up your Lawn chairs in August and enjoy the festivities!
