Currently on maternity leave with their first child, Jessica has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Cody and Jessica have appointments and medical bills ahead of them while trying to balance finding a job, caring for a baby and eventual treatments. From Jessica:

I have been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. This has been a shock to us and we have been trying our best to remain positive after hearing results from scans, biopsy’s, and future plans from multiple specialists. In addition to this diagnosis, I have an anterior mediastinal mass located on my thymus gland. Next step in this very long process includes another more invasive biopsy on December 15th. In the future, I have scheduled appointments with an ENT, cardiovascular surgeon, and an oncologist.

It goes without saying that bringing a child into this world, losing a close family member, and then getting this news is very disheartening and stressful. We have faith God will see us through these trials and that all will be well. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, they go a long way and are always appreciated. ♥️
