Help Support the Zegans!

As many of you know, on September 8th Jon Zegan was admitted to the hospital with complications from COVID.

Here is the latest update from Chary as of last night September 14th….

"The doctor was able to lower oxygen levels in the ventilator down to 50% and dad is maintaining his blood oxygen levels. A huge praise and we are praying this continues in this direction to where he can be completely weaned off the ventilator once his body is stronger.

A huge praise after a long weekend of very little updates from the hospital…..We found out from a very sweet family friend that one of the head nurses in the critical care unit is a guy that we grew up with. This has allowed my mom to have other points of contact when we are not hearing from the hospital. We are so thankful!

The nutritionist said dad is getting gluten free and diabetic friendly meals through a tube while he is sedated. Another praise!

Please continue to pray for my dad’s body to keep healing and getting stronger. When they attempt to lighten the sedation, he gets restless and tugs at the tubes which has caused him to have a wound where the tube goes in. Please pray this wound heals quickly. Pray for peace and calm for him whenever they do lighten the sedation.

Please pray for my mom to continue to heal and regain her strength. Her brother, who has been staying with her, is leaving today. She is still pretty weak and not able to do much. Her 10 days of quarantine are over today so we are hoping she will feel better and be able to go visit my dad once she can get a negative covid test.

This is all very difficult for us siblings because two of us are far away and Josh has a new born baby. We are so thankful to those who have reached out to say they are praying and to those who have offered to help.

We ask that you would continue to pray for Jon and the Zegan family and, if you are able, to please consider giving financially to the Zegans. This would be a tremendous blessing to them! All donations will go towards helping the family with medical expenses and any potential income lost.

Prayer Requests:

-That Jon would continue to rest and heal

-That Jon would respond well to them lowering sedation

-That his wound where the tube goes in would heal quickly

-Complete healing for Leslie so she can visit Jon soon
