Support The562's LBUSD Internship Program

The562 recently launched a new paid internship program for LBUSD high school students interested in local journalism. In order to support the inaugural class of interns for the 2021-22 school year, we're seeking donations to our non-profit which will go towards providing equipment (including cameras, microphones, laptops, etc.) as well as other administrative costs associated with the program. We're hoping to provide the best possible internship experience for these students, while also looking to make this a sustainable program available to aspiring young journalists for years to come!

Founders and editors Mike Guardabascio and JJ Fiddler also visit local high schools and colleges to discuss the future of media and work with aspiring local journalists.
