Support Theresa's Battle with Breast Cancer

There are few people in your life that have the ability to change the way you view the world. Not by what they say, their accomplishments or struggles, but simply through the selflessness in which they approach each moment of life. It's infectious, leaving a joyfulness and resilient view of life just by being who they are.
I met Theresa 15 years ago when we became co-workers. Over those years she has taught me some of the greatest lessons of life by the way she approaches her own. For those of you who do not know, Theresa is a remarkable wife, loving mother/step-mother of four, and extremely proud grandmother of nine (soon to be 10)!
Over the past 10 years, her husband Bill has battled cancer on three separate occasions. At the beginning of this year, he completed his treatments for his latest battle with cancer and God willing he will stay in remission (we all know third time's a charm).
Yet, two weeks ago, Theresa found out she has breast cancer. She will be starting her own treatments in the coming days that will consist of 6 months of chemo, surgery, followed by 3 months of radiation. It’s a long battle ahead but if you know Theresa or not, I’ll tell you she will do it with grace, a smile, all without complaints and quietly fighting like hell!
I know every ounce of Theresa pride would not want me to set this fund up, I’m sorry Theresa, but there isn’t anyone else I know that could use a little break and some extra love. We are hoping to raise at least $10,000 dollars to cover Theresa and Bill’s costs for things like max deductibles, transportation, etc. during this difficult time. Any amount would mean the world and go a long way.
Theresa, I want to thank you (and I’m positive many others that know you do too) for always being that example of what selflessness truly is. For those of you that do not know Theresa, I hope you're blessed to have a few Theresa’s in your own life.
Thank you to all those who are able and willing to give--it would mean the world to be able to support someone who always gives more than they take.
