Support Theresa's Recovery from Hurricane Damage

My name is Chris Allison and I am fundraising for my mom, Theresa Allison. Mom served alongside my Dad, Mike Allison, for over 17 years at Free Will Baptist Family Ministries. They were the Field Representatives for North Carolina, South Carolina, and East Tennessee.

My Dad passed away in March 2023 after a short illness. On September 27, 2024, Mom's house in Swannanoa, NC and her property sustained significant damage due to floodwaters caused by Hurricane Helene. Due to the house not being in a flood plain, it was not required to have flood coverage as part of their homeowner's insurance.

My parents have given the shirt off their backs to people. They have blessed so many people over the years and I ask that you consider helping Mom in her time of need. Mom has lost many possessions that are irreplaceable. In the process of trying to sale her house, she had stored her items in three outbuildings that were heavily damaged by water during the flood. Also, she has lost all of her furniture due to the floodwaters entering the home.
