Support this family’s future.

Hi, I’m Amy. I’ve set this page up to support my sister Emma. Before you read on, I just want to say I never thought I would have to set up a fundraiser for my terminally ill sister and creating this page does not feel like real life. She is a wonderful person who has been there for me through everything and I love her so very much. As a family we are trying to help in any way we can and I hope you can to. She, along with her husband and beautiful daughter do not deserve this. There is currently no cure for MND but with support we can make living with it much easier for Emma. Any donation, no matter how much, will be absolutely appreciated, I just want to help Emma have some security and happiness again. Thank you.
Emma was diagnosed with the devastating terminal illness Motor Neurone Disease in May 2018 and was given a 50/50 chance of making it through the next two years. This cruel diagnosis came just over a year after Emma had her wonderful daughter through IVF. Their world has changed beyond measure after finally getting everything they always wanted. Emma is battling this evil disease with all her strength and will continue to fight.
All Emma ever wanted to do was to provide for her family and give her daughter everything she could, but their lives have been devastated. The hardest thing for Emma is imagining the life that she had planned for her daughter compared with what she will experience now. Although Emma is determined to live the best life that she can, for as long as she can, the effects on the family are huge.
We would like to raise as much money as we can so that Emma can enjoy time now with her family and make happy memories that will live on forever. With her daughter Veryan just turning 3, now is the time when they should be able to enjoy life before things become even more difficult to manage. Emma has unfortunately been unable to work for many months now and as Terry is her full time carer he is unable to provide the income that he once did. Any donations will be used to solve the problems they face, as well as complimentary therapy, constant house adaptions to suit Emma’s needs and medical equipment/medications to try and fight this crippling illness.
Despite how awful the situation is, their spirits remain unbroken and they are facing the unimaginably tough road ahead of them with strength and love. You can play a huge part in helping them survive this.
Please give if you would like to and if you are able to. This money will not be used frivolously, it will be used to keep a family in their home and support them as they face the toughest time of their lives.
You can see from her blog that all Emma ever wanted to be was a mother. Let’s help her to continue to provide for her daughter as she always intended.
