Support Thom's Recovery After a Hit-and-Run While Biking

My name is Adrienne. My partner, Thom, and I both try to ride our bikes wherever we go to enjoy the world around us and get some exercise. We are avid environmentalists and work hard to make the world a better place. I work at a non-profit and he is an elementary and middle school teacher.

On Friday, February 28, at around 8:15 p.m., Thom was riding home from an event and was four blocks from home when he was hit by a car and left for dead. He was immediately hospitalized. He's home now, with serious but not life-threatening injuries. These include a severe concussion, several missing teeth (with several others fractured), a bone fracture, and facial injuries.

Our neighborhood is poorly lit, with little to no security cameras. It is highly unlikely we will ever find out who did it or exactly what happened. We will be billed for thousands of dollars of medical care expenses, even though he has insurance. We don't make a lot of money. Please help us raise money to pay off some of these expenses.
