We need your help to grow our camp, helping more animals and children!
The development of this camp was to fight the consequences of isolation, brought on by the pandemic over four years ago. New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Kelly Newby, and her team have built this camp over the years to provide a socially-rich, trauma-informed home away from home.
Kids of all ages have significantly benefited from the nature, animals, creative arts, social relationships, and play provided by the camp. Although this is an alternative to traditional psychotherapy, our camp provides a safe, family-like setting for anyone and everyone. Together, we thrive in the face of adversity.
Because of the positive impact camp has provided to the community we need to grow! Located on 40 acres, this sanctuary is loaded with potential. Currently, we have two horses, and are building to home more horses and other animals. Due to the harsh winters our equine-assisted therapy programs are limited. We need to build this camp to share with more families, and continue to provide the very best shelter, diet, and care for our animals.
Our families know what it takes to stick together, and we want to invite more into our "home" away from home. We need your help to thrive!
