I hope this message finds you all well. My name is Tierra, and I am reaching out to request your generous support towards my college moving expenses. I am an aspiring animator with a deep passion for the arts, and I have been accepted as a junior transfer into the prestigious University of Florida to study Digital Arts and Sciences with a focus on animation. As a third-generation Gator legacy, this means the world to me, and I am determined to make the most out of this incredible opportunity.

As an individual on the autism spectrum, social situations can be overwhelming and challenging for me. My time at Kennesaw State University, though academically fruitful, was tough socially as I struggled to connect with others. I faced numerous difficulties in social situations and struggled to make new friends despite joining clubs and trying to participate actively. But this transition to the University of Florida presents a new chapter, an opportunity to learn and grow both as an artist and as an individual. The disability specialist at UF has already approved all my requested accommodations, which gives me hope and confidence that I can thrive in this environment and find my place among fellow students who share my passion for animation and creativity.

However, I do face some challenges that will make this journey a little difficult. Though the road ahead is exciting, I also encounter financial obstacles. Despite my grandmother residing in Florida, I was unable to secure an out-of-state tuition waiver, making this educational endeavor quite expensive for my family. This is where I kindly ask for your support. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in helping me settle in comfortably before the semester begins.
