Support Tiffany Hanson's Medical Journey

This Fundraiser is being created for my beautiful sister, Tiffany Hanson. With her permission, I’m reaching out to the community in hopes she can receive the medical support and care she desperately needs and deserves. She has been unable to work since December of 2024 after she was admitted to the ER where they discovered several Pulmonary Embolisms in both of her lungs. She has since been diagnosed with dystonia and neurological motor disorder. She currently doesn’t have answers on the root cause of her motor dysfunction and decline, and she has little to no medical interventions that are controlling or assisting her symptoms. She has seen several specialists in several different departments, has been in and out of several different Emergency Rooms, and is currently undergoing physical therapy three times a week, but her condition is still declining. She was hopeful to receive care from experts at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, but she was denied care as they don’t have any beds available for her currently. Her nerve signals are currently not firing properly making her unable to walk, and because of this she is going to have to retrain her brain to learn to walk again as she suffers from constant leg contractions and buckling, and as a result of these issues there is increasing muscle atrophy as well. As with all of my sisters, she is one of the strongest women I’ve ever met, and she is one of the most devoted mothers I’ve ever seen. As a single mother of her four children her resources and support have dwindled over the months. And with more medical issues arising and even less answers, she won’t have the resources required of her to continue searching for paths for better medical intervention and paths to improvement. It is with hesitancy she has agreed to let me make this fundraiser for her, as anybody who knows Tiffany knows how strong willed she is, and that she’s the type of woman who won’t take a dime from someone unless she’s worked for it. She is currently trying to remain as optimistic as one can in such uncertain times, but her hopes of improvement become less and less as time goes on. There are many extensive neuro rehabilitation programs in the country, all of which are extremely costly. My hope from the community is to help lighten her currently overwhelming financial burden, and possibly give her the opportunity she needs to receive the care she requires. We understand many people today are struggling with many kinds of burdens as well, so any kind of support that is given would be a gift and an incredible blessing for her and her children.
