Support Tigger the Kitten's Fight to Live
Donation protected
I am begging for any sort of help, any amount counts, to help me cover these costs. I am not sure the final amount yet, I will be posting updates as I get them.
Tigger the kitten is 15 weeks old and 4.3 lbs. I noticed the past 2-3 days he hasn’t really eaten anything and he wasn’t drinking much water. If you know Tigger or have seen videos, you know of his boundless energy. But the past few days he was not playing or running, he has been sleeping nonstop. The behavior change worried me and I brought him to the vet today. At the vet we learned: he has a 104.8 fever, firm/mass by his ribs/stomach and harsh breathing sounds. He is also severely dehydrated. He is at the vet right now receiving fluids, having bloodwork done and will be receiving an ultrasound within an hour on his belly to see if he needs emergency surgery.
If you’ve been supporting his story since I first rescued him, you know that I took him and his brother in at 6/7weeks. Tigger was covered in fleas, completely emaciated (weighing less than 1lb), had a severe upper respiratory infection, snapped broken tail and he almost lost his eye to infection. He then had a long battle against giardia which he recently won and completed all his treatment for the other day. He fought for his life then and he is doing it again now. He has only been on this planet for 15 weeks and cannot seem to catch a break. I am in a panic because of how small and weak he is.
I don’t really know what else to do. The amount of support and donations I received from y’all when I first rescued him was unbelievable.
Thank you so much for your willingness to support Tigger’s second fight for his life. Attached is a video showing his healing from when I first rescued him. I made this video before Tigger became sick again.
