Support Tim Heatherly’s future Kid-neys.

We have done our best to keep everyone updated but gofundme is asking for a story so here is everything we know:

Tim was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy. 70 percent of Timmys kidneys are completely gone, and the disease will progress fully within 3-6 months and he will lose 100 percent of his kidney function. Meaning that his KIDNEYS are terminal and no matter what he will lose complete function of his kidneys. He will begin dialysis ASAP to preserve any function remaining, and within a year he will need a kidney transplant. And then every 6-8 years after that. The doctor reiterated that this disease is just something that happens. It’s the body attacking itself. Even if he was incredibly healthy this disease was inevitable for him. it just happens to some people. There was nothing he could had done differently. His body just woke up one day and decided to start attacking itself. Timmy is in very high spirts and knows that with his amazing support system with friends and family he will make it through this! Thank you everyone for your concerns. Again, not the outcome we wanted, and will be a very long and hard road. But it’s manageable for him to have a chance at a normal life.
