Support Tim Tardiff Burn Survivor

Hi, my name is Holly, and I am starting this fundraiser for my good friend Tim a Marine Veteran. On October 2, 2022, he was involved in a horrific fire accident that left him with 25% of his body in 3rd-degree burns. What should have been a simple act of building a fire for the family went south very quickly and resulted in Tim being taken to the local ER, Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, Maine. Once at the ER, they immediately decided to transport him to Portland, an hour and a half away, via ambulance for better care. He was placed in the ICU.

Since this terrible accident, Amanda and the kids have been staying in a hotel near the hospital to be close to Tim. They want to provide as much normalcy for their children as they can and feel being together in Portland will assist in this goal. Due to the nature of the burns and location mainly his chest, arms, and parts of his neck and earlobes, Tim has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He has made it through 3 surgeries since the accident and it is expected he will need at least 1 more plus 4-6 more weeks of recovery treatment in the hospital. Then, they were told to expect 6-12 months of recovery treatment once released. They've been advised to relocate to Portland.

Tim is the main provider for this sweet family which brings me to the purpose of this fundraiser. We hope to raise funds to help this family get back on their feet during this new chapter of their lives and assist with medical and stay bills.
