Support Tim’s Battle Against Brain Tumor!

Donation protected

Dear Friends and Family,

Let me start off by introducing ourselves. We are the Cravetts family, Tim, Brandi and Aubrey. On Friday July 12, 2024, we found out that our foundation of this whole family, my husband Tim, was diagnosed with a brain tumor called a glioma on the right side of his brain. During that same day, we met with two neurosurgeons who specialize in the removal of said tumor and successfully scheduled him for a very intense procedure to remove the mass on August 1, 2024. At this time, we are asking for any help at all to assist in the chaos that is about to take place. Tim, a US Navy veteran having served two tours, a loving father and devoted husband, currently works as a Corrections Officer at our State Prison and during this time he will be unable to work, thus leaving us with one income while he is recovering. We are starting this campaign to help offset some of that stress with medical expenses, childcare and basic needs of living.

We all love Tim because no matter what he always shows up, always puts others needs first and will willingly go without sleep to take our soon to be three-year-old daughter, Aubrey, to the trampoline park or whatever plans she makes for the day. He has the mindset of a provider and protector and without being able to work and not have an income, will put added stress that he does not need. After this surgery, his focus should be on recovery, and spending time with his family, not worrying about medical expenses and bills.

The effects of this illness are devastating our family. While both of his surgeons are fairly confident they can remove the entire mass, there is still a percentage that they will not. See, where Tim’s tumor is located on the right side of his brain, there is a major artery known as the MCA. His tumor encases this artery putting him at an increased risk of incomplete removal of the tumor, neurological and physical deteriorations, long term disabilities, the possibility of requiring chemotherapy/radiation and much much more.

While a lot of this diagnosis is unknown, the one thing for sure is that we are staying positive. We are hopeful that with this campaign and the love and support of all involved we can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that our family is facing. Our goal is to raise the entire $15,000 to help relieve the financial burden of this surgery, diagnosis and subsequent treatment.

Thank you all for reading if you stuck around this far!
