Let’s Help Tim Haselow Recover from Flood Damage

There is a work date on July 11, 2024, for those who would like to pitch in. Bring a wheelbarrow, shovels, etc. if you have them or just bring yourself. lots of things to do, Big and small. Also, please continue to share this fundraiser. It has really helped bolster Tim’s spirits.

Here is what happened -

Our neighbor Tim has been in his house on the Baptism river in Finland, MN for decades. A house he built himself. He is such a kind and giving person to so many in this community so when his home and property were devastated by the flooding on June 19th and the insurance company said that they “don’t cover flooding” we felt like we could give him a hand - like he has done for us and so many others. He lost his car and truck (over 2 ft of water inside), his huge shed was flipped over and tossed into the woods, his lower level of the house (his bedroom) was flooded and all the sheet rock has been pulled out, carpet and furniture, too, his well cover washed away and his well contaminated, and the foundation of his workshop/garage has collapsed when the earth beneath washed away.

The wonderful finland community has pitched in to help with a lot of the physical work and how awesome is that? We would like to help financially so if you can chip in a couple of bucks that would be wonderful. Thank you! We so appreciate you all.
