Support Tio Rufino's Family in Their Time of Loss

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

With heavy hearts, we want to share the story of an extraordinary man who has left us - Tio Rufino - my beloved uncle, a devoted father, and a cherished friend to many. He fought so hard against metastatic cancer, but after many cruel months, he has passed. My cousins, aunt, and I created this tribute to share part of his story and to help fund his funeral so that his family does not have to carry a burden of financial expenses upon his death. We are asking for $10k as this will cover funeral services.

We have already received $1k in donations from immediate friends and family. We are sharing widely with friends, family, and coworkers and those who want to assist. Any support is greatly appreciated. Once the donation period has passed, I will transfer the funds directly to Tía Jacqueline.

His children shared this quote in remembering him: “Our Dad was full with laughter and tough love. Era papa Latino. He gave us a good life. He was the bravest guy we knew, we deeply miss him. He taught us to always be grateful and grounded.”
