25 year old nonprofit needs your help to have a home .

It’s like watching a Christmas Hallmark movie . While giving Thanksgiving meals the director of the TLC was told the building they have rented for 13 years was going on the market at the price of 1.2 million . This is a time that the TLC is also serving flood victims in our town.

The TLC Community Center /AAWC will be 25 years old in Feb. 2025. We started as a crisis pregnancy center but have evolved into a full service community center. We service pregnant moms, babies, teens, and families. We provide a free grocery store, clothing store, commercial kitchen and Sensory Town for children with special needs. We have assisted in over 49 private free adoptions . Every summer the center delivers 3 meals per day , 7 days a week to high risk kids and has for 23 years for free. Summer of 2024 we served 114,000 meals from June to Aug . We are not and have not ever been Federally or state funded.Thankfully God has opened up a door to purchase a ready to move in building in the county that is a stone throw from the city limits.
