Support to bring Dianne back to Chicago
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Courtney Sullivan. Dianne Johnson is my aunt. Dianne has been suffering from a lung disease called Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis for a few years now, and her illness has now progressed into the final stages, called Pulmonary Fibrosis. There is no cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis, and she now needs a lung transplant. Dianne currently resides in Arizona and needs to return to Chicago to be closer to her doctors, family, and support system. We had plans of transporting her by train as a family, but she is now in the hospital again. Her oxygen needs continue to increase, and it is no longer safe to transport her without medical assistance. Medicare does not cover medical air transport. She has received a quote for the transfer to Loyola University Chicago, and it will cost $25,000. Any help for this and/or other medical costs that she is incurring during this time as all things are adding up. The hope is to have her home as soon as possible. If you have ever met my aunt, you know, she is full of life, positivity, and laughter. Her generosity and love have touched everyone who has met her somehow. So as a family, we ask, if there is any donation you can give, we would greatly appreciate it.
