It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we share the passing of Tony Sommers. On August 29th, 2025, Tony suffered a devastating fall and spent four long weeks fighting for his life in the ICU. Despite the incredible strength and resilience he showed, Tony tragically lost his battle due to the severity of his injuries. His family gathered courageously and said their final goodbyes on September 26th, 2025.

Anyone who knew Tony knew he had the biggest heart and the most caring spirit. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to help a friend in need. He brought light into every room he walked into and touched the hearts of everyone he met. He always showed up with kindness, humour, and unwavering support, no matter who you were, with his beautiful big smile. Tony was a devoted partner, a loving father, and a cherished friend to so many.

Now, it’s our turn to come together and give back to Tony and his beautiful family.

This GoFundMe has been created by Tony’s closest friends on behalf of the Sommers family to provide financial support as they navigate the unimaginable.
