Hey world, I never thought I would find myself in such a compromising and embarrassing position, but I am reaching out because I have nowhere else to turn. I’m fighting to keep my apartment, my car, and the bit of hope/sanity I have left. The safest place I know is my own, the one I’ve created for myself, as a physically impaired individual of LGBTQIA+ experience. I am on the brink of eviction and thus homelessness, that I am trying to avoid, as that experience is not livable for someone like myself.

Since my car accidents in 2021, I've been trying to get back on my feet. Unfortunately since then, I’ve only been able to secure one legitimate remote job, that was grossly underpaid. (Causing me to live paycheck to paycheck) The position lasted just a bit over a year, but the company collapsed due to budget cuts and I was abruptly terminated. (remote work is so hard to lockdown unless you know somebody that knows somebody)

The injuries I’ve sustained from the accidents prevent me from working in person, which has severely limited my job prospects. I've exhausted my credit limit trying to cover basic expenses and have contacted every church and charity in my area, but either their guidelines make me ineligible, or they simply don’t have the funds to help.

I've signed up for every delivery service you can think of, despite the pain sitting in one position brings, but the market is so oversaturated that I'm stuck on waitlists. The stress and uncertainty have been overwhelming, and I'm battling deep discouragement and depression. I know this is a lot to ask, but if there's anything you can do to assist—whether it’s sharing this link, offering a lead on a remote job, or providing any financial support—it would make a significant difference in my life.
