Help Todd Fight Liver Cancer
For those of you who want just a quick update: My dad, Todd, has been diagnosed with liver cancer. He’s unable to work as a school bus driver—a job he absolutely loves—and now faces significant financial challenges. Your support can help him cover essential bills and focus on recovery.

For those who want more details, read on:

Hi, I’m Heather, Todd’s daughter. My dad is one of the most selfless people I know. He’s a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and son—and he’s dedicated his life to serving others as a follower of Jesus Christ.

For years, Dad has worked as a school bus driver, but for him, it’s so much more than just a job. He sees it as his ministry. Every day, he prays for the kids on his bus. He prays for the fruits of the Spirit to grow in their lives, for their relationships with Jesus to deepen, and for their salvation. It’s his way of pouring love and faith into the lives of those kids, and he’s been incredibly blessed to do it.

The Diagnosis and Treatment Plan
For a long time, Dad just hasn’t felt right. About two years ago, he had sepsis, which was a huge wake-up call for our family. Not long after, he suffered a heart attack, and since then, it’s been one thing after another—emergency gallbladder surgery, countless ER visits, and ongoing medical issues. Despite all of this, Dad has pushed through with faith and determination, but recently, his health took another turn.

When his skin started turning yellow, we knew something wasn’t right. Tests revealed liver cancer that had spread to nearby lymph glands and both sides of his liver. Surgery is not an option because of how far the cancer has spread. Now, Dad must prepare for ongoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy to fight this disease.

Why We Set a $50,000 Goal
With this diagnosis, Dad can no longer work as a school bus driver—a job that provided not only his livelihood but also his joy. Without his income, he’ll be short around $1,500–$2,000 each month just to cover the basics like mortgage payments, utilities, and groceries.

His treatment and recovery are expected to take at least two years, during which he won’t be able to return to work. On top of living expenses, there are additional medical costs not covered by insurance, as well as other unexpected expenses that will arise along the way.

We set the $50,000 goal to ensure Dad has the financial support he needs during this time. This will cover two years of living expenses, help with medical bills, and give him the peace of mind to focus fully on his recovery.

How You Can Help
Your donations will go directly toward:

Monthly Expenses: Covering Dad’s essential bills and keeping him on his feet during treatment.
Medical Costs: Supporting his chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Peace of Mind: Giving him one less thing to worry about so he can focus fully on healing.
No gift is too small—every single dollar helps. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might want to help. Most importantly, we ask for your prayers for Dad as he starts this fight.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any way you can support my dad. He’s spent his life serving others, and now it’s our turn to show him how loved and supported he is.

With gratitude,
Heather
