Support Token's Journey to New Prosthetics

I am Dr. James Benz, DC, and my wife Chinyere Mba-Jonas, and I are raising money for a young orphan boy they call "Token of Love," who is in need of 2 lower leg prosthetics and rehabilitation. We first met him during Christmas time in 2024, while supplying gifts to the orphanage where we adopted our daughter in Owerri, Nigeria. His eyes are full of light, and his smile would melt your heart.

Our hearts felt a yearning to help this young boy as he was "walking" about on the floor on his knees. He had previously worn prosthetics, but because the orphanage couldn't afford proper prosthetics or the post-rehabilitation visits needed to ensure they properly fit his growing limbs, the prosthetics caused severe pain and bruising, causing Token to stop wearing them. Unfortunately, the boy has recently not been going to school, and the orphanage is looking for a tutor due to his condition.

The money raised will be placed in my US bank account, as I am a US citizen, because GoFundMe can only transfer funds to limited countries. The funds will then be transferred directly to the hospital-Biomec, in Owerri, Nigeria. We hope to raise $6,000 to cover the prosthetics and post-visits/rehabilitation.
