Supporting our Tony Adams during medical leave!
Donation protected
Tony is more than just a co-worker, he is like family. He is one of the hardest workers I have ever met, he is supportive and there anytime someone needs him no questions asked. Tony has become like family to us, and he is going a very hard time. Recently he had developed an infection from diabetic ulcers on his foot. Tony was admitted into the hospital December 7. Unfortunately, there was no stopping the infection and on December 12th, 2023 they were forced to amputate 1/3 of his foot and a portion of his Achilles heel, leaving him unable to work. He is looking at 3 weeks of no weight on it, weeks of physical therapy ahead of him and a minimum of 9 more weeks off work. We have recently learned FMLA is not an option and the only benefit he has is Unpaid Leave of Absence. An unexpected medical emergency is hard enough, but loosing income during the holidays with a family is more than a struggle. As much as we want him back to work, we want him to stay strong and heal. We are reaching out hoping to help take some of the financial burden off him and his family. Anything anyone can help out with will make a difference no matter how big or small.
