Support Tony Ogburn's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
Dear friends of ours Tony and Vicki Ogburn were in town from South Carolina to attend the Celebration of Life Service for my wife, who had battled ALS for the last four years. The morning after the service, Vicki struggled to wake Tony up to start their journey home. It was later discovered that Tony had suffered a stroke during the night and needed to be rushed to the nearest stroke center. Tony is currently in an acute rehab in attempt to get him strong enough to travel back home. It is anticpated that he might be in this rehab for another three to four weeks. He is making great progress but still has complete paralysis on the right side of his body, and has yet to speak. We are trying to raise funds to offset the expenses Vicki and their children are incurring while staying in Tampa away from their home, family, and friends. Over a minimum of the next few weeks costs such as Airbnb, food, gas, travel for the kids, medical devices and any other medical needs not covered by their insurance.
Barbara and I met Tony and Vicki as a newly married couple, in Sunday school class at Lugoff First Baptist Church. Even though we moved to Tampa four years later, they have remained one of our closest friends. Vicki has remained positive and is staying strong as she knows God is at work in Tony's life. During these difficult times, we are trying to make the unknown a little less burdensome. Please continue to pray for the entire Ogburn family as they continue on this journey.
