Help Us Give My Mom, Tonya Dannis a Proper Funeral

Hi there,

On January 31st, my mom, Tonya Dannis, unexpectedly passed away at her home. She suffered from pancreatic cancer and many other medical issues. She was also a breast and ovarian cancer survivor. She held on through so much and fought through the pain as long as she could for me, her grandson, her husband, and her family. She could brighten your day just by looking at her.

This was very unexpected, and I’ve come to find out that she had no health insurance policy or any funds to help with a funeral. Most of the money they had has gone towards medicine and medical expenses, and now we have to plan a funeral.

She was the best mother, grandma, nana, sister, daughter, friend, and so much more. Devastated is an understatement. My mom loved flowers and deserves to have a proper funeral. At this time, I’m reaching out for help to put my mama to rest. My dad and I aren’t the kind of people to ask for help, but we are at a standstill.
