On Sunday, May 19, 2024, Tori, was driving from her house back to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to be with her young son, Lawson. He had been under the hospital's care for two days, battling an extremely high fever that had caused significant concern. Her thoughts were solely on reaching him and ensuring he received the best care possible.
While traveling southbound on Interstate 75, Tori's vehicle was struck head-on by another vehicle that crossed the median from the northbound lanes. The force of the collision was immense, resulting in critical injuries for all involved including several fatalities. First responders arrived quickly at the scene, recognizing the severity of her condition, they made the decision to airlift her to the Marcus Trauma Center at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Tori arrived at Grady in critical condition, the medical teams immediately began intensive treatment. The hours following her admission were crucial as the team worked tirelessly to manage her injuries and prevent any further complications.
Miraculously, over the last few days, Tori has shown incredible resilience and strength. Despite the severity of the accident, she has made significant improvements and has reached a stable condition.
Tori has a very long road to recovery ahead, with many surgeries and physical therapy needed to get her back healthy. As you can imagine, the hospital bills are quickly adding up to an obscene amount.
Please, if you are able, any amount of money will be greatly appreciated. Tori was doing nothing wrong, and only wanted to get back to the hospital to be with her son. She is loved by so many people and did not deserve any of this whatsoever.
