SUPPORT TOWN S.M.A.R.T

Hi Everyone..

My name is Lorraine Courtney (Ruby) and I am a member of

"TOWN S.M A.R.T" a team of 24 local community volunteers who are passionate about restoring the beauty of our small seaside town of WITHERNSEA which lies on the east coast of Yorkshire..

Once a thriving holiday destination, WITHERNSEA has been brought to a standstill due to a lack of funding and budget.

Led by local Councillor Mr Jon Dimberline, our aim is to spruce up our well loved town and improve the little quaint villages that surround us.

Everyone of us in the team from the ages of 18 to 82 has taken a health and safety test and Mr Dimberline has taken care of our insurances.

Already within the first 2 months we are well into our mission with tasks such as litter picking, cutting back hedges, painting old railings and trying to control dog fouling. We have great fun outdoors and are always encouraging new volunteers on the way.

In order to proceed with our work we need more pennies towards well needed equipment such as garden tools, paints, protective clothing, brushes, shovels, barrows, the list is endless.

We, the dedicated team are hoping that your kind selves will consider donating to help us put the sparkle back into our home town.

No amount is too small to help us reach our goal.
