support Tracy as he gets treatment for critical burn injury.

On Friday, December 6th, my husband Tracy had a life threatening accident while at work. He was sprayed by 200 degree sodium hydroxide and also fell approximately 10 feet from a rolling platform onto the cement below. The fall resulted in an open fracture to his right ankle, an open fracture to his right elbow and a fractured scapula.
The fact that the sodium hydroxide was so hot means that Tracy's burns are a combination of thermal and chemical burns. He has both partial thickness burns and full thickness, or what people use to call 3rd degree burns. He has burns over 50% of his body including his chest, stomach, arms, back, buttocks and legs. Some areas have damage clear down to where you can see the muscles. They expect him to be in the burn ICU for a minimum of 3 months if everything goes perfectly. Tracy is critically injured and we are praying that he will persevere.
Tracy is the main income earner for our family as I am on Social Security Disability and am unable to work. This accident is going to be a very long journey with months in the ICU and more time in intensive outpatient programs for surgeries, physical therapies, and other treatments. This will be a heavy financial burden. We appreciate any help offered.
I will do my best to keep this post updated as Tracy goes through the steps toward healing.
