Support Tracy Dixon: A Community Champion’s Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Mel and I am fundraising for Tracy Dixon - Mind & Body Fit.

Tracy Dixon has dedicated over 30 years of her life to improving the fitness, health, and wellbeing of our community. A true local hero, she has built a network of support, kindness, and positivity that has touched countless lives. From leading fitness classes to creating safe, welcoming spaces in two local church halls, Tracy’s passion for helping others knows no bounds.

These spaces, which she has lovingly renovated with her own time and resources, are more than just buildings. They’ve become vital community hubs—places where people come together, find support, and grow stronger, both physically and mentally. Tracy genuinely cares about every person who steps through her doors, offering encouragement, compassion, and her unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others.

But now, Tracy needs us. A tragic accident earlier this year forced her to take time out from the work she loves so deeply. The accident occurred while she was striving to improve one of the community centres she has poured her heart into. Her recovery has been a long and challenging journey, and while she is planning to reopen her doors in January 2025, I want to help her return stronger than ever.

This fundraiser is our chance to give back to someone who has given so much to all of us. Let’s come together to show Tracy how much she means to this community. The money raised will be a gift for her to use however she sees fit—whether it’s to support her recovery, enhance her centres, or simply provide her with the comfort and recognition she truly deserves.
