Support Tracy Murphy’s family after her passing

Hi all! Thank you for taking a moment of your time to read this. Many people know Tracy Murphy. To me, she is my mom. She raised me and my sister- Miranda Murphy. She was working full time as a flooring specialist at Home Depot where she was quite the hotshot- number one sales person in the area. Her work ethic has transferred into her personal life where she has always taken care of us, her elderly parents, and our father, Allen Murphy, until he recently very unexpectedly passed away in March of 2024 from complications resulting from radiation treatment for lung cancer. She is a very extraordinary woman and there isn’t enough space in here to explain the battles she has overcome in life for us.

In December of 2024, Tracy’s very active life of taking care of all of us took a 180 degree turn. She initially became very sick from pneumonia. As she was not recovering, they decided to do a chest X-ray which revealed a mass in her left lung. After a CT scan, a biopsy, and a hospitalization, we now know Tracy has stage 4 Metastatic Carcinoma. Meaning she developed cancer in one area and it has spread to others. The doctors believe it began in her lungs and has spread to other areas in her stomach. Tracy has been in significant pain from the masses growing aggressively and fluid from the illness as well. Today, she has been hospital for the second time and we are hoping to quickly get her healthy enough to begin chemotherapy as soon as possible.

Tracy has always worked hard to provide for us. She does not have insurance and has not been able to work at all due to the pain and illness from the cancer. Miranda and I are both police officers and want to do everything we can to provide for her now. Beyond what we can help, we are also looking for any assistance possible for the medical bills we have had and are to come. We are also looking to help with her personal bills in the meantime. We aren’t sure of any estimate for the treatment but anything would be wonderful.
