Support Trae's Children and Honor His Legacy

Hello everyone,

My Name is Brenda Cothron I am Trae Spurlock's mother. I have had a lot of interest from our extended family and friends about setting up this page to help with funeral arrangements and future support for Trae's 3 children.

Trae Spurlock was born in Gallatin, Tn on June 5th, 1998. And was tragically killed on June 6th, 2024, at the age of 26. Trae left behind 3 children ages Astrid 1 1/2 yrs., Mark 4 yrs. and Hannah 5yrs.

Trae entered the military at 18. He was an Army Veteran and was forced to medically retire in June 2022. He loved the military and always wanted to be a green beret and make a career of the military. He was a loving father, son and friend. Trae loved being a father and was always involved in raising his kids, wither it was being a single parent with Hannah and Mark while serving at Ft. Bragg. Or making the hard decisions to work long hours after his retirement to provide for them. Trae would go out of his way to help anyone. And he was always polite and kind. After his retirement he had thought about becoming a sheriff's deputy. But was worried his disabilities would keep him from preforming the duties. So, he went to driving trucks. He had just got the clearance to deliver supplies to the military bases and was excited about it. He had found a new way to serve his country.

All proceeds will be used for funeral services and any remaining proceeds will be put into the children's saving account.

Funeral Services are to be scheduled at a later date. Due to the ongoing investigation into Trae's death.
