Idrees and Musa, we are two young visionaries, have taken it upon ourselves to create something extraordinary, a brotherhood where fun meets purpose, leadership ignites empowerment, and faith fuels every step.
Raised in strong communities surrounded by mosques, scholars, and enriching experiences, we are growing up attending camps, retreats, and events that shape our character. We had a realisation that not everyone had access to the same opportunities. Instead of moving forward alone, we turned back and chose to take our brothers on the journey with us.
Trailblazers Youth Club (TYC) is a youth initiative aimed at boys aged 14-18 in Birmingham. Our mission is to create a space where young people can learn, grow, and have fun while forming a brotherhood. We started TYC because we believe every young person deserves opportunities to gain valuable skills, be inspired by role models, feel a sense of belonging in their community, stay connected to mosques, prayer and close to faith-driven brothers, and being brothers for life.
Why We Do What We Do:
Our sessions run weekly, and they’re designed to inspire and empower the next generation. Through workshops, activities, and guest speakers, we aim to equip our youth with life skills, leadership qualities, and strong values. We know that these critical years are the foundation for their future, and TYC strives to create Trailblazers.
At TYC, we strongly believe in the power of unity and care. That’s why we make sure every student and guest who attends our sessions is provided with food, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. Until now, our parents, grandparents, our location and a few generous food sponsors have supported this effort. However, as our club grows, so do the needs of our youth.
What We Need:
To continue running and improving TYC, we urgently need your support. Your contributions will help us:
Provide food for our students and guests every week.
Purchase equipment for activities and workshops.
Arrange travel for trips and events.
Host inspirational guest speakers who can motivate and guide our youth.
Marketing to expand our reach and impact.
Cover other essential operational costs to sustain and grow the club.
Your generosity will enable us to maintain a space where young people can thrive. Together, we can invest in their future, giving them the tools and support they need to become confident, capable leaders in their homes, communities, and beyond.
