Support trans people affected by coronavirus

London Intersex and Trans Community Healthcare Hub (LITCH) is raising money to help trans and interesex people who have lost access to healthcare as a result of COVID-19 or the preceding failures in trans and intersex healthcare.
GICs are no longer advancing transition in the UK. Not only have surgeries been cancelled, but they will not prescribe hormones, despite some offering virtual appointments. Many of those receiving prescriptions of hormones from their GPs can no longer get appointments, and there are disruptions at the pharmacy level as well.
Losing access to hormones has not helped the fight against coronavirus. Having hormones withheld is torture, and it has very real consequences for trans peoples' physical and mental health. This crisis in trans healthcare is fuelling a sharp increase in self medication, which poses health risks of its own.

Please donate if you're financially privilleged, and share it as widely as you can, particularly with those who are.
