Support Trenton's Battle Against Brain Cancer

On Wednesday afternoon while at school, Trenton noticed stroke like symptoms that he was having and alerted a teacher. The teacher recognized what was happening and immediately sent Trenton to the nurses office from there Trenton was taken to the med center where he was given a CT scan and they found a mass in the center of his brain, the mass is 5 cm long 4 cm high and 4 cm wide. Wednesday night Trenton was transferred to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center and went into emergency surgery to have a drain placed to help the fluid buildup in his brain be released. The surgery went successful and has been an aid for Trenton and helping the fluid be maintained. Trenton has been surrounded by lots of friends and family and caring nurses that he’s been able to create a bond with. As of yesterday (Friday May 17th) we found out that the tumor he has is cancerous (Embryonal Tumor) and he will be undergoing treatment at Saint Jude Hospital in Tennessee. Trenton has kept a positive attitude the entire time and has made sure to trust in God during this difficult time. Trenton has enjoyed spending his time singing and listening to music more specifically SZA and praying and spending time in the chapel. Trenton will be headed to Tennessee as early as Wednesday. Any visitors are welcomed and are appreciated by Trenton and his family. Trent’s favorite quote during this time is the come back is always stronger than the set back. The money we are trying to raise will help with forms of transportation to get family too and from Trent, medical treatment, and to help ease financial struggles while his mother and himself are away from their home.
