Support Trevor McNair's Kidney Transplant Journey

Hello my name is Trevor McNair and im 32 years old from a little city in South Carolina called Ridgeland. Im starting this fundraiser for myself. On March 8, 2022 my life turned upside down. What I thought was a bad stomach ache was actually a blessing in disguise. I went to the er with bad stomach pains and while I was there they found out that my kidneys was functioning at only 3%. Had I not had those stomach pains I would’ve never known about how bad my kidneys really were. The doctors told me that I was a very sick man and that I should be glad I came in when I did because if I has waited another week I would have passed away. I was devastated. And to make matters worse the hospital was only allowing 2 visitors so my family couldn’t be with me. I was in the hospital for a week. Getting so many test ran on me. I was praying that God work a miracle for me. The hospital did all they could for me but my kidneys were heavily damaged because of uncontrolled high blood pressure. Life as I knew it had changed. I went from working at Walmart for 12 years to doing diaylsis 3xs a week for 4hr a day. I eventually stopped working because my body just couldnt handle the stress of working and being on diaylsis. I have been on diaylsis for 2 years now and im officially on the transplant list and awaiting my call for a transplant. Im also seeking living donors that have the blood type b+ or anyone who can donate to b+. Im asking for help now to make my kidney transplant when I recieve it to a smooth transition back into my old life. Anything is appreciated…. Stay blessed
