Support Troy Farris in his Recovery Journey

Troy Farris is a friend to many people. I (Don M.) first learned to know Troy in the summer of 1986 when I spent two months in Venice, LA. Troy and I have stayed connected over the years and have had a lot of good times together. If you know Troy, it's hard not to have a good time when he is around.

On Sunday, June 9, Troy suffered a stroke and needed emergency surgery on his brain. The following Tuesday and Thursday the neurosurgeon(s) had to perform additional life-saving brain surgeries that left Troy in an unresponsive condition in ICU. As of today, 6/19/24, Troy has opened his eyes and moved his head and one arm a little bit.

Troy's wife Joanna has needed to step away from her job to help care for and be present with Troy while he is in the hospital. She also told me when I inquired, that they do not have health insurance. With the loss of two incomes and a growing medical bill, they could use some financial assistance. Joanna did not ask for help, because if you know Troy and Joanna, they are not that kind of people. However, they have blessed many people over the years, and now we have the opportunity to bless them.
